£37,191 – £47,132 pa pro rata Fixed-term for a year, with potential to extend further.

We are seeking highly motivated applicants for two Clinical Fellow posts in Emergency Medicine.

This is an opportunity to work in a busy inner city university hospital in the UK, with teaching and researching responsibilities.
The two full-time posts are perfect for someone wishing to gain more experience prior to applying for higher EM training in the UK or elsewhere – with further support and advice available.
The first post will allow 80% clinical and 20% non-clinical time to be spent on an expedition, supervised by either our British Army Consultant/ Specialist or our Global Health Specialist.
Past expeditions have included Alpine medicine, trekking in Peru and the Great Wall of China, and can involve humanitarian work or Global Health.
The second post includes 80% time working in the Adult Emergency Department and 20% paid time to develop in a specialist interest of your choice, such as fellowship in education and simulation; staff wellbeing; Paediatric Emergency Medicine; research in Emergency Medicine or Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine with Professor Jonathan Benger at University of the West of England; Patient Safety or any other special interest.
Educational support will be provided, including a study budget.
Applicants should preferably have three years of postgraduate experience including at least six months in emergency care.
