The successful candidate will join a multi-skilled Medical Officer body responsible for hospital and outpatient-based care.
Candidates must be registered for independent medical practice as a Medical Officer with the HPCSA and be able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness. Additional diplomas in HIV (Medicine), ATLS, ACLS and DOH would be advantageous, but not essential. The ability to work in a team and in a dynamic, ever-changing company environment is important, along with good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will prescribe to a philosophy of evidence-based medicine and managed care. A valid driver’s licence completes profile.
